Welcome to our 9 hole pitch and putt Academy Course.
Our gem of a Par 3 course is not only popular with regular golfers using it to improve their short game capability, it is also fantastic for beginners looking for an introduction to golf and building their confidence in the game.
No tee time booking is required, no formal dress code, we just request that trainers or golf shoes are worn to help keep the greens in great condition.
Enjoy the experience of the traditional game of pitch ‘n’ putt golf but done to a level that reflects any leading golf course across the UK. Sculpted Greens protected by proper bunkers, all cared for and maintained to the highest standards.
Weather you are honing your shortgame skills or hitting you first shots it’s the perfect place for putting the pleasure back into golf!
The Academy course shares it’s space with Footgolf here at Adlington so each green has two flags and holes, one normal golf hole and one larger Footgolf hole. Formats may be mixed during your round as we encourage enjoyment of any golf related sports and the great outdoors.

When we set out to build the Academy Course we wanted to create the best 9 hole par 3 course we could. We enlisted the specialist services of leading Architects, Hawtree Ltd to work with us on specifically designing this course around the short game.
Over the years since the Academy Par 3 Course opened we have gained a reputation for the high quality of our greens which are immaculately maintained by our dedicated greens team, we hoped it’s the best in Cheshire but come and try it and let us know.
This 660 yard course usually takes no more than 45 minutes per round and requires no more than a wedge and a putter.
We are beautifully situated on the edge of the Peak District here in Cheshire and love being ale to offer this 9 hole course that brings enjoyment to pitch and putt for both families and golfers alike.
Please Note: We try to ensure the course is open at all times. During the wetter months, typically November to April we recommend calling ahead to confirm the course condition.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the course remains open all year round we can’t control mother mature, should the course be closed why not come and try a round of Virtual Golf using our Trackman Driving Range. Virtual Courses can be played using one of our iPads – alternatively you may wish to hire our Studio and play on the 90inch TV!
